Job summary

ACWA is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to carry out maintenance, overhauling and installation on electrical motor machinery in line with SOPs, HSE guidelines and quality standards.

The role requires a mechanical diploma or electrical apprenticeship and at least five years’ experience with motors, bearings, and mechanical drawings; strong attention to safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical diploma or apprenticeship in electrical field (motor related work).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing electrical motors in workshop and site.
• Knowledge of bearing sizes and clearances with micrometres.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, overhauling and installation activities on electrical motor machinery in line with SOPs, HSE and quality standards.
• Check stock levels of consumables for inventory control and timely re-ordering.
• Update maintenance logbook, record progress, measurements and readings, and sign attendance sheets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to policies and HSSE requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by works manager.
