Job summary

A leading sustainability organization in the UAE is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to perform Planned Preventive Maintenance on electromechanical systems. You will carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a large organization and strong knowledge of electrical systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of dedicated PPM experience preferably in a large organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Compliance to safety and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electromechanical systems.
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, use diagnostic tools for accurate repairs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts.

Skills

Proven experience as an Electro mechanic Technician
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Good Knowledge in CAFM Systems

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Job Description:

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to perform all kinds of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work on our facility's electromechanical systems and equipment. This includes but is not limited to regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electromechanical systems such as PV farms, inverters, DB /breaker operation, HVAC system, CCTV, LV etc.
  • Schedule and perform routine tasks, inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery, identify and replace worn parts.
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, use diagnostic tools for accurate repairs.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensure installations meet safety standards.
  • Perform scheduled PPM tasks in accordance with SFG-20 standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, prepare reports on equipment condition.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts, order and restock as necessary.
  • Conduct quality checks, implement and adhere to quality control procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and equipment performance, participate in training and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Relevant certification or vocational training in electrical or Mechanical
  • Minimum 5 years of dedicated PPM experience preferably in a large organization
