Job summary

Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Electrician to maintain and repair hotel electrical systems, including plant equipment and live 415V work. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor meters, and ensure safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years’ hotel experience in the UAE, a full-term Diploma in Electrical/ITI, and is flexible to shifts to support hotel operations. Join our team and uphold high-quality hospitality services.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hotel experience in the UAE is required.
• Diploma in Electrical/ITI or equivalent is required.
• Hands-on electrical experience and ability to work on live equipment in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess electrical/plant breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Install new electrical equipment as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks and identify faults.
• Produce monthly detailed electrical updates of plant and equipment.
• Comply with ADOSH and safety standards.
• Conduct monthly meter readings.
• Work on live equipment up to 415V.
• Participate in health, safety and environmental programmes.
• Ensure compliance installations have proper certification.
• Work in team or independently to deliver high-quality standards.

If you have theserequirements, at least 2 - 3 years’ experience in hotels, with a full-term Diploma in Electrical/ ITI, qualification; hands on experience in related to electrical; previous technical experience as a qualified electrician who has served an apprenticeship; must be flexible to work shifts according to operation needs; must have hotel experience in the UAE.
