Job Summary

An Electrical Technician is responsible for completing assigned jobs and tasks within the designated time frame. They should be able to read and interpret technical drawings, select appropriate assembly tools and techniques, and execute tasks according to the specifications in the Work Order package.

Responsibilities

1. Review and understand the Work Order for the assigned job.
2. Plan the sequence of actions needed to complete the job.
3. Assemble the job according to the provided specifications.
4. Update and maintain relevant work order documentation.
5. Notify the supervisor of any mistakes or required as-built changes.
6. Conduct hydrostatic tests or Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) on completed jobs, if authorized, at designated areas.
7. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
8. Report any machine issues or accidents immediately to the cell leader.
9. Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop, following 5S principles.
10. Comply with all company and HSE procedures and policies.
11. Perform any other tasks or duties as requested by the cell leader.
12. Be available for field service trips and other activities as required by management.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Basic knowledge of assembly techniques and tools.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an electrical technician.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Desirable

• Technical training certificate.
• High school diploma.
• Experience in electrical installation.
• Familiarity with NOV K-Winch, WPCE, and WHE products.
