Job summary

A leading water treatment company in Sharjah is seeking an Industrial Electrician to handle cable installation, termination, and preventive maintenance tasks. Candidates should have a diploma in Electrical Engineering, at least 4 years of experience in Waste Water Treatment Plants, and knowledge of control panel wiring. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with tools are essential. Experience in the UAE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in Waste Water Treatment Plants and Equipment Manufacturing fields.
• Experience in control panel wiring, electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Industrial Electrician / Electrical helper for cable tray installation, cable pulling, armoured cable glanding, and termination.
• Work according to drawings, sketches, or samples provided by the Electrical Engineer or Supervisor.
• Report any required or preventive maintenance to the Supervisor.
• Notify when materials are nearing exhaustion.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean working area.
• Take care of all equipment and tools.
• Reduce wastage and scrap.

Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical installation works

Problem-solving skills and ability to repair equipment on-site

Ability to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

Excellent communication skills

Experience working in the UAE and other GCC or North African regions

UAE driving license is an advantage

Education

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related ITI certificate
