Job Description

Are you an expert in electrical maintenance within the nuclear power plant industry? If so, we have an opportunity awaiting your expertise. Our prestigious client is seeking dedicated Electrical Supervisors to join their team in Abu Dhabi and contribute significantly towards the safe and reliable operations of NPP.

This role requires someone with substantial experience who can oversee all aspects of electrical maintenance for complex systems at our esteemed nuclear infrastructure facility. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient and a capable leader, ready to take charge during critical moments while ensuring that standards are maintained or exceeded.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise direct reports encompassing various teams responsible for timely, quality-driven execution of predictive, preventive and corrective programs alongside Surveillance Tests.
  2. Liaise closely with engineering teams to monitor performance across both NSSS and BOP equipment domains.
  3. Act as Head of Electrical Maintenance when required, effectively managing emergency situations and adopting the necessary protocols swiftly.
  4. Facilitate work preparations including procurement requests submission thereby optimising resource allocation aligned with operational readiness goals.
  5. Lead troubleshooting initiatives ensuring accurate resolution outcomes under stringent time-lines while upholding safety standards meticulously.
Candidate Profile:

The successful applicant should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • At least eight years relevant working experience within a Nuclear Power Plant; with at least 5 years in general maintenance.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and extensive maintenance experience
  • Broad understanding of international standards applicable across diverse maintenance scenarios
  • Hands-on experience in routine tasks and intricate project management phases, utilising tools like MS Project/Primavera.
  • Proficiency in handling pressure-intensive breakdowns and shutdowns, demonstrating resilience and strong coordination abilities across departments to foster a collaborative ethos.
