Job description

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including:
  MV/LV Switchgear, Transformers, Motors
  Cable laying (power, control, instrumentation)
  Cable termination, glanding, and cable tray installation
  Lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems
  Ex equipment and hazardous area electrical installations (as per ATEX/IECEx)
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and construction teams to resolve site issues promptly
• Monitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, and progress reports
• Support Electrical Engineers in redline markup preparation, testing protocols, and punch list clearance
• Conduct toolbox talks, ensure PPE compliance, and participate in safety walks and audits
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Instrumentation teams for inter-disciplinary integration
• Review and verify inspection/test records (IRs, ITRs) for electrical systems
• Report daily activities and progress to the Electrical Construction Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in electrical site supervision, including 4+ years in Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Certifications: Basic HSE / Permit to Work (PTW) / CompEx / OSHA / NEBOSH (preferred)
• Skills:
  Strong knowledge of IEC, NEC, and client-specific standards (e.g., ADNOC, ARAMCO, KOC)
  Good ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, termination details, layouts
  Experience with both greenfield and brownfield project execution
  Computer literacy: MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), report writing
  Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Other:
  Willingness to work on rotational shifts or extended hours at site
  Previous experience with international EPC contractors preferred
