Detailed JD for Electrical QA/QC Engineer - Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement QA Procedures: Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), MRB, FAT procedures, checklists, and method statements, ensuring compliance with client requirements, international standards, and local regulations.
- Review of Design and Documentation: Check electrical drawings, specifications, and materials/submittals for compliance with project standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Material Inspection: Inspect incoming materials and equipment, verify certifications, and coordinate with store, procurement, and vendors for compliance.
- Site Inspection and Monitoring: Perform routine site inspections for installation of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Testing and Commissioning: Witness and document electrical tests, oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to verify system functionality.
- Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions: Log non-conformances, coordinate corrective actions, and monitor until closure.
- Maintain Quality Records: Keep records of inspections, tests, NCRs, calibration certificates, and other QA/QC documentation.
- Prepare Reports: Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports, inspection requests, and test reports.
- Liaison with Stakeholders: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, clients, TPI, and consultants; participate in meetings.
- Adhere to Standards: Follow IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, ISO 9001, local electrical codes, and regulations; be familiar with Zone Certification/classifications (ATEX & IECEx).
