Job summary

Emirates Electrical Engineering LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Procurement Officer to source materials, equipment, and services for projects, manage supplier quotes, and ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, monitoring supplier performance, and optimizing costs while complying with project specs and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in ERP (SAP) and Excel is preferred; collaboration with project teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation preferably in Commerce / Diploma in Engineering.
• Supply chain certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the superior in procuring Materials, Equipment, Hire and Services to the job site according to the company's purchasing policies and procedures
• Obtain and review quotes from Suppliers, and make recommendations to the Senior Officer Purchase.
• Place orders with Suppliers and ensure timely delivery of Materials, Equipment, Hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and inventory
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products
• Work closely with Divisional Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and other team members so as to understand the material / service requirements in order procure the same as per the site requirements
• Identify potential cost savings opportunities and report them to the superiors
• Ensure compliance with all specification and quantities required for the project including regulatory and legal requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in order to improve purchase experience
• Continuously evaluate and improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Officer Purchase / Management
