Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) – PMT to act as Owner/PMC representative, ensuring electrical systems are designed, procured, installed and tested in line with project specs and international standards.

You will coordinate with EPC contractors, review SLDs, load studies, switchgear and UPS, and oversee power generation/distribution, equipment like transformers and GIS/AIS substations, as well as on-site installation and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC deliverables: SLDs, load lists, protection studies
• Ensure compliance with project specs and international standards (IEC, IEEE)
• Oversee HV/MV/LV distribution, substations, diesel gensets, UPS systems
• Review equipment specs and vendor drawings; monitor FAT/SAT activities
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Telecom, Civil teams
• Resolve TQ/RFI and site issues during construction and commissioning
