Responsibilities

• Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed technical drawings for electrical systems (e.g., wiring diagrams, power layouts, lighting plans, fire alarms, low current systems) and plumbing systems (e.g., water supply, drainage, fire fighting layouts) using AutoCAD or Revit.
• MEP Coordination: Develop combined MEP shop drawings, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural designs, and resolve clashes between electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
• Project Support: Review project requirements, specifications, and design documents to produce accurate drawings, including duct layouts, piping designs, and bill of materials.
• Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, municipality requirements, and international standards
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, senior draftsmen, and construction teams to translate design concepts into technical plans and provide visual guidelines for installation teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of UAE/GCC experience in electrical and plumbing drafting, preferably in MEP projects. Experience with infrastructure, hospitality, or high-rise projects is an advantage.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a strong advantage. Familiarity with 3D modelling is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems (e.g., power distribution, low current systems, single-line diagrams) and plumbing systems (e.g., drainage, water supply, fire fighting).
