About ADNOC Onshore
ADNOC Onshore is the largest oil producer within ADNOC Group, accounting for more than half of the Group 's total oil production. Its operational history dates back to 1939, when a 75-year concession was signed for oil and gas exploration in Abu Dhabi. The company also supports ADNOC 's environmental sustainability initiatives through carbon capture and utilization technologies. The Al Reyadah Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) facility has the capacity to capture approximately 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually from Emirates Steel Industries for use in Enhanced Oil Recovery activities at the Bab and Rumaitha oil fields. This facility contributes to ADNOC 's stated 2030 sustainability objectives and reflects the Group 's commitment to integrating operational performance with environmental initiatives.
