Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in site supervision or project management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering and construction supervision duties under general supervision.
• Conduct independent site walk-downs and inspections of installed electrical components and systems.
• Verify that electrical installations comply with approved engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction requirements.
• Apply established engineering techniques, procedures, and evaluation criteria to construction activities.
• Assess installation quality and identify discrepancies between completed works and approved design requirements.
• Exercise professional engineering judgment when evaluating technical details and construction conditions.
• Support compliance with applicable engineering standards throughout electrical installation activities.
• Evaluate electrical construction activities using standard engineering principles and accepted professional practices.
• Review technical requirements associated with electrical systems, power distribution, and installation works.
• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering design and construction specifications to assess site conditions.
• Identify technical issues affecting the compliance or performance of installed electrical systems.
• Support the resolution of engineering and construction-related concerns through appropriate technical assessment.
• Use engineering drawings and relevant design information to verify installation requirements.
• Inspect installed electrical works to confirm conformance with approved specifications and engineering designs.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate construction workmanship and technical compliance.
• Identify deviations from established electrical installation requirements.
• Document relevant inspection observations and communicate technical concerns to appropriate project personnel.
• Apply sound professional judgment when assessing installation details and construction quality.
• Support consistent implementation of electrical engineering and construction standards.
• Perform quantity surveys of electrical construction works for project tracking and reporting purposes.
• Verify relevant quantities associated with installed electrical components and construction activities.
• Maintain accurate information to support progress monitoring and project reporting.
• Communicate quantity survey findings and relevant construction observations to project personnel.
• Support the preparation of technical information required for construction progress assessment.
• Coordinate with relevant engineering and construction personnel on electrical installation matters.
• Provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors when required.
• Communicate engineering requirements and inspection findings to appropriate team members.
• Support coordination between engineering design requirements and site construction activities.
• Apply leadership and team management skills to support effective technical collaboration.
