Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to support HVAC electrical systems, vendor drawing reviews, cable schedule updates, and day-to-day technical clarifications for shipbuilding, offshore, and oil & gas EPC projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, documentation, planning, and implementation of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with international standards and project requirements.

  • Provide engineering support for HVAC and other electrical systems across major EPC and RIAP projects.
  • Review vendor drawings and technical documentation; coordinate comments and revisions.
  • Coordinate with site teams for daily technical clarifications and resolve design queries.
  • Update and manage cable schedules; ensure timely availability of cables and components.
  • Liaise with clients and obtain approvals for electrical drawings, documents, and designs.
  • Coordinate with OEMs (e.g., boiler systems) to ensure ITR closure.
  • Prepare single-line diagrams, load lists, and power system studies (e.g., voltage drop, relay coordination).
  • Execute design calculations for LV panels, UPS, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, etc.
  • Supervise site electrical works, support procurement, and perform FAT inspections.
  • Lead and review 3D modeling activities for electrical system layout with drafting team.
  • Maintain project documentation including MTOs, cable tray routing, material take-offs.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in design/model reviews.
