Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks an Electrical Quality Engineer to design, test, and evaluate electrical systems and components while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, testing methods, quality control, and manufacturing practices.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, schematics, components, measurement equipment, testing procedures, and specs.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, 5 Whys, Fishbone is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD, ERP, testing, or quality systems is a plus.

Role Description

Design, develop, test, and evaluate electrical systems, components, equipment, and related technical solutions in accordance with project and quality requirements. Review electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, technical documents, and engineering requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct inspections, testing, measurements, and quality checks on electrical products, components, materials, and processes. Identify technical defects, quality issues, non-conformities, and process deviations, and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, suppliers, and other teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues. Develop and maintain inspection plans, test procedures, quality checklists, technical reports, and engineering documentation. Analyze test results, defect data, failure trends, and quality performance to identify root causes and improvement opportunities. Support product development, engineering changes, testing, validation, and production readiness activities. Ensure electrical designs, products, and manufacturing processes comply with applicable technical standards, safety requirements, specifications, and quality procedures. Participate in root-cause analysis, corrective action, preventive action, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor supplier and component quality and support supplier evaluations, inspections, and technical issue resolution where required. Prepare engineering and quality reports, communicate findings, and provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Support audits, quality reviews, equipment inspections, and compliance activities as required. Promote consistent engineering and quality practices to improve reliability, safety, efficiency, and product performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, testing methods, quality control, inspection processes, and manufacturing or engineering practices.


• Knowledge of electrical drawings, schematics, components, measurement equipment, testing procedures, and technical specifications.


• Familiarity with quality management systems, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.


• Understanding of relevant electrical, safety, quality, and industry standards is an advantage.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical and quality issues systematically.


• Good knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, 5 Whys, Fishbone analysis, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
