Job Description

1. Monitoring the Electrical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
2. Reviewing, approving and processing all Electrical technical submittals.
3. Answering RFI’s related to Electrical scope of works.
4. Coordinating and supervising the work of all MEP activities and operations.
5. Reviewing contractor’s Electrical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to MEP PM.
6. Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
7. Reviewing contractors claims related to Electrical works and preparing recommendations for claims.
8. Reviewing the contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.
9. Managing the Electrical inspectors.
10. Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Electrical works.
11. Handing over of the projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. High rise building experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
3. Strong technical background.
4. Excellent knowledge of Electrical systems, products and materials.
5. Excellent knowledge of applicable Electrical design and construction codes.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solutions (Excel, Word).
8. Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.
9. Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements.
10. Complete project understanding in a given discipline, from start to hand-over.
