Job summary

miral.l.c in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer / Draftsman / MEP BIM Modeller to join our team. The role emphasizes electrical drafting, BIM modelling, and cross‑discipline coordination using AutoCAD and Revit.

You will develop detailed drawings, model electrical systems, and ensure designs reflect project revisions. UAE/GCC project experience is a plus; visa and medical insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as electrical engineer, draftsman, MEP BIM modeller or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Good understanding of electrical building services and MEP coordination.
• Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and detailed layouts.
• Experience working with BIM models and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings and technical documentation.

• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
• Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination workflows.
• Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, containment and other related systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure drawings and models are updated according to project revisions.
• Support project teams with technical drawings, quantity information and documentation as required.
