Job description

We’re known for pioneering cost-effective corrosion prevention solutions across critical infrastructures worldwide. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated electrical systems that support our corrosion control technologies. This position requires a fusion of core electrical engineering principles with a nuanced understanding of corrosion and cathodic protection systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and long-term asset protection.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development :

Develop and design electrical circuits, control panels, and instrumentation tailored for corrosion protection systems such as cathodic protection units.

Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications to support both new installations and ongoing maintenance projects.

Project Implementation & Support :

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including corrosion engineers, field technicians, and project managers—to integrate electrical solutions seamlessly into overall project designs.

Direct technical evaluations and implement electrical systems in accordance with project timelines and operational requirements.

System Testing & Troubleshooting :

Conduct rigorous testing and calibration on electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and optimal performance in harsh environments.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during installation and operational phases, executing prompt corrective measures to minimize downtime.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance :

Ensure that all electrical designs and work practices meet local, regional, and international safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL).

Develop and enforce preventive maintenance plans, quality control procedures, and safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with high-performance electrical operations.

Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain comprehensive records of technical designs, test outcomes, and maintenance activities.

Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation required for regulatory compliance and quality assurance.

Stay current with emerging technologies in electrical engineering and corrosion prevention fields.

Propose innovative approaches and participate in research and development initiatives aimed at improving system efficiency and longevity.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Must be Emirati national.

Educational Background :

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Candidates holding a Master’s degree or possessing professional certifications (e.g., FE / PE) are highly preferred.

Professional Experience :

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing electrical systems within industrial or infrastructure projects.

Experience with cathodic protection systems, instrumentation, and control systems is especially valuable.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or equivalent design and simulation packages.

Solid understanding of circuit analysis, electrical diagnostics, and system integration techniques.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

In-depth knowledge of corrosion control technologies and related electrical systems.

Familiarity with international electrical codes and quality standards.

A proactive approach to continuous learning and renovating technical processes for enhanced reliability.

Working with us offers you the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, innovative team dedicated to safeguarding critical infrastructure globally.

You will engage in challenging projects across diverse environments, benefit from competitive compensation, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth and development in a culture that values technical excellence and safety.
