Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for supervisors, technicians, and semi-skilled workers.
  2. Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  3. Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
  4. Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
  5. Liaise with supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project, if necessary and under the sight of the In-charge person.
  6. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force.
  7. Plan the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines in the level of work package.
  8. Oversee quality control, health, and safety matters on site.
  9. Prepare daily progress reports.
  10. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
  11. Maintain the tools and equipment at site including their safety at installation.

Qualifications and Pre-requisites:

  1. Should have an Engineering degree (Preferably Electrical or Electronics) from a recognized institute.
  2. Should have a minimum of 4-5 years of work experience.
