Job Description

Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for coordinating the final electrical installation and station commissioning, as well as ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and fault analysis of stations' LV to HV electrical equipment. This role includes overseeing installations, repairs, and compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards to ensure system performance, safety, and continuous improvement. The Engineer will lead emergency response efforts, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to process enhancements in maintenance activities. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer will assist the Project Manager in coordinating all site construction and commissioning activities. After energization, they will support the Maintenance Manager in organizing maintenance activities to keep the asset in sound technical condition, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and achieving the Project Company's performance indicators.

Responsibilities/Authorities:

• Ensure proper coordination on site as the Company's site representative of all stakeholders (Contractor, Owner's engineer, client, etc.).
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed per HSE, contractual requirements, and related laws.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment following OEM recommendations and procedures.
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting to minimize system downtime.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and fault analysis to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit maintenance reports, troubleshooting reports, and fault analysis reports.
• Issue daily work orders to the maintenance team and follow up on daily activities.
• Update maintenance records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for spare parts based on OEM recommendations.
• Update spare part stock through CMMS and ensure preventive maintenance on spare parts.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage electrical network operation and maintenance or related fields.
• Proven field experience in installation, commissioning, or repair work.
• Relevant electrical engineering certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power transmission, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power transmission assets.
• Familiarity with HVDC or FACTS systems is a plus.
• Skills in fault analysis, diagnostics, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Experience in preparing maintenance and performance reports, and fault analysis reports.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical data and work effectively under high-pressure situations.

Work Details: Primarily office-based with frequent travel to offshore and onshore facilities. Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
