Job Responsibilities
- Supervises the overall operations of the Electrical Enclosures Integration Facility and its hands-on electrical technicians to ensure all projects are completed on time, accurately, without rework, and within budget.
- Identifies the requirements of the Centre and is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and dispatching materials in and out of the Centre.
- Receives inquiries from inside and outside the Centre for integration activities and identifies materials required to perform the tasks.
- Generates first-level integration engineering documents such as Enclosures GA’s and Wiring Diagrams using drafting software like AutoCAD or GstarCAD for review and approval by Project Managers.
- Supervises and distributes work among the Integration Centre staff to ensure high-quality work.
- Generates Bill of Materials for each project and obtains quotations from sub-suppliers for approval before placing purchase orders.
- Expedites deliveries from sub-suppliers.
- Maintains records of the Integration Centre’s inventory and assets.
- Conducts internal testing of built-up electrical enclosures before offering them to the Project Manager for internal factory acceptance testing.
- Implements strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations within the Integration Centre, including electrical safety, PPE usage, and safe operation of power tools.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar high-standard integration work, especially in LV Switchgear.
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and specialized electrical assembly equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office and drafting software, e.g., AutoCAD.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
- Physically fit and a good team player.
- Valid Light Vehicle UAE Driving License.
