Job summary

Naffco in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for fire trucks and specialized vehicles, requiring strong expertise in control systems and automotive electrical design. You will prepare detailed schematics and work instructions, collaborate with mechanical teams, and ensure compliance with international automotive standards and project deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in automotive or heavy vehicle electrical design, preferably for fire trucks or similar equipment.
Ability to design electrical schematics and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Prepare work instructions and detailed electrical schematics for fire truck systems.
Design and develop electrical systems with strong knowledge of control systems and CAN Bus systems.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on hydraulic-related electrical integrations, including water supply and drainage systems.
Develop and issue electrical designs in line with project schedules and deadlines.
Interpret technical specifications and negotiate design details with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with the mechanical design team to ensure proper placement and integration of electrical components in vehicles.
Ensure all designs comply with international automotive standards and regulations.
Review and improve existing systems to enhance performance, safety, and efficiency.
