Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Dubai to develop reference designs for Commercial & Institutional Buildings, integrating Low/Medium Voltage, UPS, energy storage and life safety into turnkey solutions.

You will translate customer and business requirements into scalable designs, collaborate with BU teams, and create visual tools with the Marcom team to promote Eaton offerings to customers and consultants in a fast-moving market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power or IT engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Commercial & Institutional Buildings segment with customer interactions.
• Solid knowledge of Energy/Power Distribution products and IEC standards.
• Proficient with SCADA and electrical design software.

Responsibilities

• Map target sub-segments and develop reference designs and sales tools.
• Deliver reference designs per sub-segment and supporting sales materials.
• Map use cases and functionalities for applications within Eaton offerings.
• Create library of reference designs and design guides with detailed specifications.
• Engage BU Product Managers to position offerings in references and align with roadmap.
• Collaborate with BU applications engineers to define application needs and best technical solutions.
• Translate reference designs into detailed tools with Marcom, including CAD files and design guides.
• Support development of promotional tools and content for reference designs.
• Support consultants and designers via webinars, meetings, and content access programs.
• Continuously improve the reference design framework based on feedback and market needs.
• Define and develop new tools to showcase Eaton capabilities.
• Ensure designs are integrated into Eaton processes for faster content delivery.
