Siemens Team in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Design Engineer to lead the electrical O&G project execution in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role involves analyzing project technical information, preparing electrical designs to Siemens standards, and coordinating with vendors and customers under Engineering Manager guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering disciplines from a local or international university or technical institute.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Medium and Low Voltage Power Distribution Designs.
• Team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Initiative.
• Result driven.

Responsibilities

• Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted engineering schedule in terms of design.
• Review and coordinate vendor engineering and accord clarifications, rejections and approvals under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
• Process internal and external design change requests during the execution of the project.
• Maintain constant communication with the Engineering Manager, reporting pending issues and the status of handled project design.
• Attend, with the Engineering Manager and project manager, vendor meetings, customer meetings, factory visits for design reviews, inspections, factory tests and site topics related to engineering.
