Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking motivated UAE National students pursuing engineering degrees for an Engineering Trainee role in Dubai. The position offers practical exposure within Electrical and Automation Engineering, assisting with technical and project activities within airport logistics projects. Ideal candidates will have an interest in automation and electrical systems, along with strong communication skills and eagerness to learn. Familiarity with AutoCAD or MATLAB is a plus.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Interest in automation, PLCs, industrial systems, and engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Electrical and Automation Engineering team in daily activities.
• Assist with reviewing electrical and control drawings.
• Support preparation of technical documents, reports, and checklists.
• Observe and assist during testing and commissioning activities.
• Gain exposure to PLC systems and automation equipment.
