WSP Middle East is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical) to oversee and manage electrical projects within the ADDC/AADC domain in the UAE. You will support the Resident Engineer in ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with the highest quality standards and safety adherence.

You will review technical submittals, supervise on-site activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical), Electrical Engineer, or Site Electrical Engineer on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, construction methodologies, and site supervision practices.
• Experience in monitoring contractor performance, reviewing technical submittals, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management software and related tools.
• Dynamic and proactive approach with ability to identify innovative solutions and improve processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good knowledge of UAE local authority requirements and relevant construction codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Resident Engineer in overseeing electrical engineering activities across multiple UAE project types.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and project documentation for compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise site inspections, monitor construction progress, and guide site staff.
• Ensure HSE requirements are implemented and followed on site.
• Assist in progress reports, technical assessments, and project documentation.
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Support project close-out activities, including testing, commissioning reviews, snagging, and handover.
