Job Description:

To ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical and instrumentation systems within the tissue paper manufacturing plant, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, drives, control panels, and distribution boards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick resolution.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and standards.

Instrumentation Duties:

• Calibrate and maintain sensors, transmitters, pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and other field instruments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA, and DCS systems used in the manufacturing process.
• Maintain and configure control systems for tissue machines, converting lines, and utilities.
• Conduct regular checks and calibrations on process instrumentation for accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in commissioning and start-up activities for new machines or modifications.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
• Ensure timely reporting of breakdowns and maintenance activities.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Support in inventory management for spare parts related to E&I.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a tissue paper manufacturing plant or similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), VFDs, and HMIs.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., Lockout-Tagout, arc flash protection).
