Job summary

Coreehs in Abu Dhabi is seeking an EHS Officer to ensure compliance with local EHS policies and regulatory requirements in the Power Generation industry. You will conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations; monitor PPE usage and safe practices; and coordinate with multinational teams to maintain a safe working environment.

NEBOSH certification and 5 years of relevant EHS experience are mandatory; immediate deployment and a valid passport are

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience in Power Generation.
• Good English communication skills mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor work activities and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare reports.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with multinational teams to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
