Position Title: EHS Manager

Position Type: Full-time Permanant

Location: Dubai

Position Summary

Working as a key leader of the International Project team executing the design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement and supply of wind turbine generators.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Safety Team Operations Oversee the safe delivery, installation, and commissioning of wind turbines while ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
2. Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as the focal point for safety issue escalations and maintain strong relationships with clients, consortiums, and subcontractors.
3. HSE Compliance & Coordination Ensure all HSE activities align with contracts, project EHS plans, and relevant policies/regulations.
4. Reporting & Documentation Maintain EHS documentation, take meeting minutes, and coordinate weekly and monthly safety reports.
5. Risk Management & Issue Resolution Facilitate escalations, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and remove roadblocks affecting safety operations.
6. Team Building & Training Recruit and establish safety teams for projects, conduct team meetings, and organize workshops on safety and risk management.
7. Safety Culture & Leadership Proactively contribute to fostering a strong safety culture across project portfolios and ensure coherent safety reporting to leadership.

Required Experience

• Qualification in relevant field (Bachelor's degree and/or above)
• Minimum 10 years experience as Health, Safety and Environment Manager on major infrastructure projects
• Experience in wind industry is mandatory
• Knowledge in people management and safety methods and systems
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office/SharePoint
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential, both verbally and written
