Overview

First time parents living in Al Ain, UAE are seeking a wonderful, experienced nanny to care for their newborn son, who is currently 3-weeks-old. The position is to start ideally at the end of August, and by the middle of September at the latest. This is a fully staffed household, so the baby will be the sole responsibility for the nanny. The schedule is to be determined but will typically be a 6-day week, with 12-hour days. The nanny will be provided with their own accommodation within the complex of the family's home.

Responsibilities
  • All aspects of care for the baby, including managing sleep, feeding, and hygiene routines
  • Able to advise the chef on meals and weaning when required
  • Tidying and organizing the baby's spaces and belongings
  • Working as a team with the parents
  • Planning and executing age-appropriate activities and outings
  • Creating an engaging environment and providing developmentally appropriate enrichment daily
  • Travel with the family when required
Qualifications
  • Desire for a long-term position
  • Be able to offer advise and support to first time parents
  • Previous experience working in the Middle East would be a bonus
Requirements
  • Written and spoken English must be perfect.
  • Kind, sensitive, and caring
  • Excellent references from prior families
  • Start date by the end of August or the middle of September at the latest
  • Up to date CPR and First Aid certification
  • The nanny should be flexible and able to accommodateany changes to the schedule
