Job description

Overview

First-time parents based in Dubai are seeking two fantastic newborn care specialists to support them following the arrival of their twins due in mid-December, for three to six months.

The schedule will be ROTA with one week on / off.

The parents wish to be involved with the babies as much as they can, and would greatly appreciate guidance from the candidates when possible.

There are other staff in the house, so the candidates will only be responsible for the care of the babies. There is staff accommodation available near the family property for the candidate to use when not on duty.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the babies at all times
  • Providing professional guidance and advice concerning babies care
  • Working in a supportive and collaborative way with the parents, respecting the family's personal preferences while building their confidence
  • Implementing an effective sleep and feeding routine that the parents can continue once the contract has finished
  • Full-charge care, when / if required

Qualifications

  • Would like the candidate to have previous experience working with twins and can hit the ground running
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and an effective communicator
  • Comfortable working in an environment with dogs as the family has a hypoallergenic Chow Chow
  • An easygoing and warm attitude
  • Must be self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Mum would like to breastfeed so that advice would be appreciated
  • Hands-on and resourceful, but also knows when to give the family space
  • Requirements

  • Must be available to start mid-December at the latest, possibly at the start for a minimum of six months.
  • Up to date on vaccinations
  • First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to certify before employment begins
