TWMA Middle East Limited is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to operate rig equipment, conduct regular inspections and develop an understanding of site operations. You will ensure safe movement of equipment and vehicles, liaise with client personnel, report issues to supervision, assist with mechanical maintenance, and keep rigs clean and professional.

This role involves hands-on work on deck and in workshops, with potential hazards in confined spaces and a requirement to follow

• Proven ability to operate rig equipment and perform regular inspections.
• Strong understanding of site operations and safety protocols.
• Experience with maintenance of mechanical equipment as needed.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as directed by Foreman or Supervisor.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the equipment at the rig or at site.
• Perform regular equipment inspection.
• Develop an understanding of site operations.
• Ensure the safe movement of equipment & vehicles around yard and Rig sites.
• Liaise with client personnel and team members to gather relevant data and record as directed.
• Report any problems or issues with equipment or processes to Supervisor.
• Share knowledge and experience with all relevant personnel.
• Assist with any maintenance of mechanical equipment if required and appropriate.
• Clean and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a professional appearance at all times.
• Undertake other relevant duties on board the rig as required, e.g. pit cleaning, skip & ship equipment, cuttings Skips filling, banks manning, operation of Super sucker etc.
• Ensure all staff respect facilities on the rig, e.g., accommodation, equipment etc.
• Perform cleaning of rig tanks, modules, mud pits, and storage tanks utilising high-pressure washers, vacuum units, and specialised pit cleaning equipment as required.
• Assess potential hazards within and around confined spaces and ensures proper control measure and monitoring of entry and exit in accordance with safety protocols.
• Undertake other work as directed by the Foreman or Supervisor
• Check, service, repair and maintain all TWMA equipment.
• Inspect and assess the mechanical & hydraulic systems to determine the requirements for refurbishment, replacement, or repair.
• Repair or replace defective and/or worn parts and components.
• Attend daily workshop or daily site briefings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications / Training (E – Essential / P – Preferred)

• High school or equivalent trade experience of at least 3 years if relevant qualification is not available (E)
• National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or Diploma in any industry relevant trade (P)
• Certificate in a relevant discipline (e.g., Basic H2S, Confined Space Entry) (P)
• Valid Basic Offshore Survival Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) (P)

Experience(s) (E – Essential / P – Preferred)

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the oil & gas or energy industries (E)
• Working experience within the oil & gas or energy industries in similar role within (P)
• Working experience within the drilling waste management or process industries as related service or process provider (P)
• Experience in services related to MEP or HVAC (P)
