Regional Financial Controller

Regional Financial Controller has a strong IFRS background and has overall responsibility to adhere to accounting policies and procedures and ensure compliance with those rules by the finance team, establish internal controls, and comply with different audit regulations.

2. Field of Responsibility

Regional Financial Controller shall ensure high quality in the P&L and Balance sheet reporting - this includes, but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility:

1. Responsible for overall completeness and correctness of financial data.
2. Advise on correct IFRS treatment of financial transactions and alignment with internal policies and procedures.
3. Manage various internal and external audits as well as timely internal and external reporting (tax/other statutory reporting, monthly/yearly internal reporting including comprehensive analyses on monthly/quarterly/yearly performance of ME region).
4. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a functional internal control system.

3. Reporting Responsibility

1. Statutory reporting (yearly, monthly for all branches of BTME/BDBE).
2. Financial reporting to Group (monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual, ICS reporting).

4. Reporting Line

Regional Financial Controller will report to CFO E&M ME.

1. Group Policy on Financial Reporting including SOP IFRS Accounting.
2. Group Policy on Internal Control Systems (ICS).
3. Group Policy on Minimum Standards in Working Capital Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, profound knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
2. Extensive relevant experience (5-10 years) preferably in managerial-level positions in leading audit companies.
3. Commercial and financial attitude.
4. Strong analytical skills.
5. Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
