Job Purpose
- Develop and implement innovative HR solutions to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, aligning with Air Arabia's business strategy.
- Enhance efficiency, support changes, and optimize workforce performance through effective compensation and benefits programs.
- Support implementation of HR projects, initiatives, and changes across all business entities.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Recommend and implement HR practices, job designs, compensation & benefits packages, and reward programs. Ensure these initiatives comply with regulations and align with business strategy.
- Analyze market data and benchmark compensation & benefits packages to ensure Air Arabia offers competitive and attractive employee packages. Work with HR teams to gather and interpret salary and benefits trends.
- Conduct thorough research to stay current on salary trends, benefits offerings, recognition program structures, and industry best practices. Review proposals from HR teams and provide feedback to ensure alignment with compensation strategy and market standards.
- Prepare, analyze, and present data to support effective reward & recognition strategies, program revisions, and future planning.
- Implement and maintain systems & processes for job creation, job evaluation, grading, organizational structure design, and related changes. Manage & update central repository of job descriptions.
- Clearly explain compensation and benefits packages to employees, answer questions, and provide guidance.
- Contribute to HR projects related to compensation and benefits, such as pay reviews, bonuses, incentives, insurance renewals, or new program implementations.
Profile description
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Human Sciences/Management or equivalent from a recognized university.
- MBA or Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualification or HR professional certifications are advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: business writing, presentations, public speaking, reporting, etc.
Work Experience
- 3+ years' experience in rewards or compensation & benefits, preferably in the aviation or hospitality industry.
- Overall 5+ years of experience in Human Resources is a plus.
- Working knowledge and experience of implementing Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation methodology.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar is considered a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and analytical tools such as Power BI.
- In-depth knowledge of various HR functions and their processes.
- Strong analytical and time-management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data management and resource utilization.
