Location: Onsite Dubai ( 100% (10 weeks onsite / 2 weeks offsite))
Duration: 3 months (extendable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in project planning and scheduling, with a strong command of Microsoft Office Project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects, managing timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and handling all aspects of project planning. You will be required to interact with various stakeholders, oversee the successful execution of system cutovers and go-lives, and help drive continuous improvement in the planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and manage project plans and schedules using Microsoft Office Project. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Maintain strong communication channels to provide updates and resolve issues as they arise.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Utilize strong analytical skills to identify potential project risks and implement proactive solutions. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to overcome challenges and keep projects on track.
Leadership in Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration across departments. Drive teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and agility in dynamic project environments, especially during system cutovers or go-live phases, ensuring minimal disruptions and swift resolutions to any emerging issues.
Reporting & Documentation: Regularly report on project progress, identifying key milestones, risks, and achievements. Maintain thorough and up-to-date project documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements in project planning and execution. Provide feedback and recommendations for optimizing workflows and project outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Planner, Project Coordinator, or similar role in project management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Project (or equivalent project management tools).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
Experience working in dynamic environments, particularly during system cutovers or go-live events.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
