Job description

• Participate in safety meetings and pre-job preparation sessions.
• Dismantle defective DD equipment and install new or repaired parts following OEM standard procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical equipment, including drilling motors, modular motors, steering units, and other MWD & LWD equipment.
• Perform partial or full dismantling of equipment, repairing or replacing defective components to restore functionality.
• Participate in cost estimates for equipment repair.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for DD & MWD equipment.
• Calibrate, inspect, and pack down-hole and electronic equipment related to M/LWD sensors.
• Participate in failure investigation sessions.
• Update tool-related maintenance activities using the available ERP system.
• Train and supervise junior maintenance staff.
• Perform other tools maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Technical Qualification: Experience in maintenance of directional drilling and downhole tool equipment.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required.
• Software: Familiarity with Baker Hughes MAPS & E-Procedure is preferred.
