Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, staff supervision, and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role demands a proactive, team-oriented individual who can effectively lead and motivate a team, optimize processes, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency and safety.Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth functioning of warehouse activities.Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to achieve operational objectives.Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to optimize logistics processes and minimize costs.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Manage budgeting, warehouse operations costs, and performance metrics.Implement quality control standards and continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee the maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment and machinery.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar managerial role.Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices.Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to make decisions and solve problems efficiently.Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.Physical ability to lift heavy objects and remain standing for long periods.Preferred Skills:Certification in supply chain management.Experience in using Zoho Inventoryx, Excel.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Work Environment: The Warehouse Manager typically works in a warehouse environment where they may need to handle various items and operate warehouse equipment. This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Salary: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
