Your role as a Specialist/Consultant will revolve around ensuring the highest standard of care, from pre-operative assessments to post-operative management, all while collaborating with a skilled team of surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed pre-operative evaluations and risk assessments for cardiac surgery patients.
Formulate and implement comprehensive anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Administer and manage anesthesia during cardiac surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Continuously monitor vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout the procedure.
Oversee post-operative recovery, managing any complications or pain management needed.
Collaborate with surgical teams to improve patient outcomes and surgical efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest practices and technologies in cardiac anesthesia.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Anesthesiology.
Significant experience in cardiac anesthesia (5+ years preferred).
Deep understanding of cardiac systems and related surgical techniques.
Proficient in emergency management and critical care protocols.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
