Job Summary:

The Fleet Controller/Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating all activities related to the organization's vehicle fleet. This includes scheduling vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, tracking fleet performance, optimizing routes, managing fuel consumption, and coordinating with drivers and service providers to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the registration renewal of vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, servicing, fuel consumption, and compliance documentation (e.g., licenses, inspections, insurance).
  • Plan and schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Interact with drivers and external service providers to resolve operational or mechanical issues promptly.
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance, incidents, utilization, and fuel efficiency.
  • Support accident/incident investigations and coordinate vehicle insurance claims as required.
  • Maintain communication with internal departments to meet transport and logistics needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in fleet.
  • Proven experience in fleet coordination, transportation, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, transportation regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Know the routes in the UAE, especially in Abu Dhabi.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
