Job Description

Great opportunity for a Vice President to join our growing Subsidiary Banking team in Dubai and play a key role in supporting subsidiaries of corporate clients headquartered in India and ASEAN, across various industries.

Job Summary: As a Subsidiary Banking Coverage Banker in the Global Corporate Banking team, you will be responsible for covering Middle East & Africa subsidiaries of corporate clients headquartered in India and ASEAN, working closely with teams covering parent company relationships at their Global Headquarters in India and ASEAN, as well as local EMEA product teams, particularly in Payments/Transaction Services, Trade, and Markets. The location is Dubai (UAE), a strategic hub for our MNC coverage business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Originate, develop, and manage relationships with subsidiary business teams and Regional Treasury Centers in the Middle East & Africa.
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify needs that can be met with JPMorgan's products across Payments/treasury services, trade/loan products, debt capital markets, markets (F/X, commodities, derivatives), risk management, investor services, and asset management. Translate client needs into solutions leveraging JP Morgan's suite of financial products.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver advanced Payments/Treasury Services solutions to top-tier clients in the region (e.g., physical and notional pooling, POBO/ROBO, Virtual Account Management).
  • Collaborate with Payments Sales, Product Specialists, implementation, and customer service teams to ensure understanding of client requirements and satisfaction.
  • Develop coverage of GCB's selected clients in the region, coordinating with line of business partners such as Debt Capital Markets, FX & Rates, TS, Asset Management, and planning for future business growth.
  • Support HQ bankers in client coverage and account planning, being accountable for local results.
  • Market in-scope IB products (including credit, syndicated finance, private placements, ABS/Conduits, derivatives) and non-IB products (Treasury Services, Investor Services, Asset & Wealth Management) through regional coverage at CFO and Treasurer levels.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proven client relationship manager with ability to build, develop, and expand client relationships, win new business, and close transactions.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-product, multi-country client relationships at a regional level.
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking and Payments products, including treasury services, derivatives, bonds, loans, and trade finance.
  • Strong credit and analytical skills. Good understanding of credit, markets, and asset management products.
  • Excellent commercial judgment and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-cultural environments and build partnerships.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Hindi.
  • Experience working with Indian & ASEAN HQed clients in the MEA region is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, regionally, and internationally.
