Job description

About the Role: A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to join its Dubai Team. This role is ideal for candidate with prior experience working in an international arbitration, litigation, or dispute resolution environment, a proactive professional who thrives in a high-performance environment, providing vital support to senior lawyers working on complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the Cayman Islands, ADGM, DIFC, and BVI. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide full-spectrum secretarial support, including document creation, editing, formatting, and filing 2. Manage lawyer schedules, book meetings, and assist with legal filings 3. Handle correspondence, calls, and document preparation professionally and efficiently 4. Open, close, and archive legal files while ensuring KYC compliance 5. Draft first versions of legal documents and coordinate closing bibles 6. Support billing processes, including drafting invoice narratives 7. Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders in line with firm protocols 8. Assist the marketing team with business development admin when required 9. Collaborate with team members to meet tight deadlines and deliver consistently high-quality work 10. must have worked in international dispute resolution or arbitration/litigation

Qualifications & Skills: 1. Minimum of 3 years of secretarial experience in a legal or professional services firm 2. Recognized secretarial qualification or equivalent practical experience 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal admin tools 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 5. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure 6. Strong sense of discretion, diplomacy, and professionalism Desirable: 1. Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution 2. Familiarity with offshore legal systems (e.g., Cayman Islands, BVI, ADGM, DIFC) 3. Experience using tools like InterAction, Deltaview, Adobe Acrobat, and Expert Billing Why Join Us?
