We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in development-led construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working closely with developers, managing multidisciplinary design teams, supporting procurement processes, coordinating with subcontractors, overseeing QA/QC standards, and driving value engineering efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Coordination:
- Lead the day-to-day management of assigned construction and development projects.
- Liaise directly with developers and clients to ensure alignment on project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, risks, and key deliverables.
- Design Coordination:
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
- Facilitate design reviews and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on technical and aesthetic goals.
- Manage design changes and ensure impacts on cost, schedule, and quality are assessed and approved.
- Procurement Assistance:
- Support the procurement team in tender preparation, evaluation, and selection of vendors/subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing scopes of work, contract documents, and procurement schedules.
- Subcontractor & Site Management:
- Supervise and manage subcontractors to ensure quality and program compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections, review progress, and address issues or delays.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety, statutory, and environmental standards.
- Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC):
- Establish and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
- Review and verify construction quality, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate inspections and testing with consultants and regulatory bodies.
- Value Engineering & Cost Control:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering without compromising design intent or performance.
- Work closely with quantity surveyors and cost consultants to monitor budget adherence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a project management role within the construction or real estate development sector.
- Proven experience working with developers and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and subcontractor management.
- Native Arabic Speaker preferred.
