Key Objectives

• Oversee design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
• Create detailed design specifications, select systems, and ensure compliance with standards and safety protocols.
• Guide engineering teams, conduct technical reviews, and ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and other disciplines for seamless integration and quality assurance.
• Develop and oversee testing and commissioning plans, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

Responsibilities

• 18+ years in Quality Management related to QC discipline Welding
• Participation in Vendor & Subcontractor Selection and Approval
• Quality Management, Inspection & Test Planning & Execution
• Criticality Rating Management, Vendor/Subcontractor Inspections, Audits, NC Management
• Procurement Quality Objectives & KPIs Management, Performance analysis
• Procurement document control, Technical Bid Evaluation, Queries, Change Management
• Liaise with Third Party Inspection Agencies
• Quality Performance Reporting, Review & Approval of vendor documents
• Compliance with codes, standards, specifications

Leadership Skills

• Lead and mentor QC engineers and designers, serve as primary contact for QC matters.
• Identify issues, define solutions, evaluate options, and document recommendations.
• Allocate tasks, guide team, and ensure effective project execution.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Coordinate with project teams for integrated design solutions.
• Ensure deliverables' accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
• Demonstrate organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Motivate, coach, and manage team, fostering responsibility and ownership.
• Apply technical skills to deliver quality work timely and accurately.
• Identify project milestones and deliver within schedule and budget.

Stakeholder Management

• Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
• Manage interface meetings to progress design scopes.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote safety culture across teams and sites.
• Participate in workshops and reviews such as Design, P&ID, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP, 3D Model, Constructability, and SIMOPS.

• Bachelor's Degree in QC Engineering or related field.
• At least 15 years in Oil & Gas projects.
• Minimum of 5 years as Lead Engineer on major Greenfield/Brownfield projects.
• Experience in instrumentation, control strategies, and specifications.
• Expertise in control system design, including loop design, sensors, transmitters, actuators, and communication protocols.
• Experience managing large teams (50+ engineers and designers).
• Coordination of satellite office teams, productivity, and quality management.
• Proficiency with industry software such as InTools, Conval, SPI, Navisworks, MS Office.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, flexible under tight schedules.
• Effective in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of engineering planning, control methods, and construction practices.
• Professional certification such as IWE, CWE, or equivalent.
