Role Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, including achieving sales targets, managing and developing the store team to maximize profitability, maintaining brand and company image, ensuring operational compliance, and providing an excellent customer experience. The role also involves deputizing for the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth daily operations aligned with business objectives.

Role Profile

  • Lead the team to deliver excellent customer service standards, understanding company / brand standards, individual customer needs, and current trends.
  • Drive the store team to deliver high levels of customer service consistently.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Increase sales through proactive initiatives and awareness of KPIs.
  • Manage sales promotions and brand activities, coordinating with support teams to maximize sales.
  • Ensure smooth store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, addressing disruptions promptly.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with company policies to minimize stock loss and damage.
  • Coordinate with the Excellence and Compliance Team for stock counts and inventory management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional qualification in retail is advantageous.
  • 4-5 years of industry experience.
  • Must be a team player.
