Job description

Creating asset registers for each company and property, and maintaining property-wise registers in Excel and accounting software.

Recording assets in the accounting software and tracking the location of each asset.

Monitoring the movement of assets from one site to another and transferring costs in the accounting software with proper documentation.

Checking the maintenance requirements of assets and arranging maintenance to ensure assets meet company standards. Suggesting management on asset replacement if required.

Evaluating capital expenditures and their impact on asset value and performance.

Identifying opportunities for asset optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.

Contributing to the development of financial forecasts and budgeting processes for assets.

Developing risk mitigation strategies to protect asset value.

Ensuring compliance with internal controls, industry regulations, and risk policies.

Preparing detailed financial and performance reports for the Group Accounting Manager and CEO.

Ensuring accurate documentation of asset transactions, valuations, and financial adjustments.

Maintaining comprehensive asset records for auditing and regulatory purposes.

Tracking the disposal or sale of assets and recording the same in financial statements, keeping proper records of these transactions.
