About You and this Role

We seek a Solution Architect to work in Liferay’s Customer Experience department, serving as a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts. You will guide customers and partners on architecture, integrations, best practices, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate loves learning new technology, has full project lifecycle experience, and can engage effectively with technical and executive stakeholders. Your support is vital to project success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Project Solutions
  2. Partner with TAM Services customers, primarily in the Middle East, as their main technical contact.
  3. Design solutions to address business challenges.
  4. Coach customers on usage and development issues.
  5. Provide guidance on Liferay products and services.
  6. Conduct solution sessions to empower and unblock customers.
  7. Advise on best practices for implementation.
  8. Proactively recommend features or solutions for project improvement.
  9. Inform customers about Liferay’s roadmap and assist in planning.
  10. Gather feedback to improve products and services.
  11. Build trust through quality engagement.
  12. Success & Delivery Management
  13. Own account success and project progression.
  14. Host strategic sessions and monitor project health.
  15. Coordinate with support and product teams on deliverables.
  16. Update customers on product features and updates.
  17. Escalate issues and facilitate resolution sessions.
  18. Create launch plans and allocate resources.
  19. Maintain project documentation and insights.
  20. Develop and review account plans.
  21. Collaborate internally and provide customer insights.
  22. Support colleagues and share knowledge through documentation and training.
Required Skills
  • Native or near-native Arabic; conversational English.
  • Up to 30% travel.
  • 7+ years in sales engineering, pre-sales, or customer-facing roles in software or consulting firms.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in containerization, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), virtualization.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise Java, SOA, and related design patterns.
  • Experience tuning enterprise Java systems, application servers, and databases.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage long sales and engineering cycles.
  • Comfort in a globally distributed organization.
Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in Liferay products, architecture, and solution scoping.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security, identity management, and search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr).
  • Experience in industries like finance, healthcare, government, retail, etc.
  • Familiarity with OSGi.
