Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the day-to-day operations and setting up mechanisms/processes to monitor payment success rates 24x7 across banks, partners, and merchants, with a focus on operational excellence.
  2. Formulate business strategies related to structures, costs, and capabilities for each country of operation.
  3. Implement efficient processes and explore new opportunities.
  4. Oversee the implementation of technology solutions organization-wide.
  5. Manage relations and negotiations with partners and local acquirers.
  6. Evaluate risks and lead quality assurance efforts.
  7. Analyze performance results and optimize processes accordingly.
  8. Understand Dlocal operations to identify and prevent operational and technical issues, proposing strategic improvements.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to support their needs, providing transaction data, feedback, and analysis of current issues affecting clients and processes.
Candidate Profile

What we are looking for

  • A strong background in payments operations with a technical understanding.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an Operations Manager in a similar business model.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, payments, fintech, or related fields.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment across multiple time zones.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with legal, finance, product, and IT functions.
  • Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a curious, positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and willing to travel.
