Job description

Support the Data Analytics Manager in documenting requirements, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and analytics projects aligned with the department and Group's brand, vision, and strategic objectives.

Job Outline: Plan

• Develop project plans for BI and analytics initiatives.
• Assist management in planning data requirements based on business needs and prepare necessary data sources.

Deploy

• Collaborate with relevant business departments to assess, gather, and document BI reporting requirements aligned with business objectives.

Lead

• Regularly review BI reporting to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Track BI and analytics projects against plans, updating and adjusting as necessary.
• Monitor ongoing projects and provide visibility to the Manager with recommendations or action plans.

Execute

• Gather and document BI and analytics requirements from business departments.
• Source, prepare, and maintain data for BI and analytics projects.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain BI dashboards in analytics applications.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requirements from users.
• Train and support users of BI and analytics tools.
• Assist the Data Analytics Manager with proof of concepts and projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Skills

• At least a Level or Graduate qualification.
• 3+ years in a data analysis support role.
• Experience in the Travel / Tourism and Cargo industry is advantageous.

Knowledge / Skills

• Experience in data analysis support.
• Proficiency in at least one leading BI / analytics programming language such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with BI and analytics tools like MS Power BI, Tableau.
• Knowledge of data storage solutions, including SQL databases and cloud storage.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management principles is advantageous.
