Role Overview

The role is responsible for leading the external communications program to support the wider marketing objectives in both local and international markets.

Description
  1. Collaborate with internal teams to increase visibility through press releases, media collaborations, influencer partnerships, and related promotional activities.
  2. Plan and execute media trips annually to Abu Dhabi for key international media and influencers, focusing on priority markets.
  3. Identify and create storytelling opportunities.
  4. Support the sponsorship team in leveraging existing partnerships.
  5. Oversee strategic engagement, including media appearances, social media presence, and public event participation.
  6. Coordinate with local and global agencies to execute communication strategies.
  7. Develop and lead communication plans for new initiatives and key projects.
  8. Foster and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key government stakeholders.
  9. Serve as a committee member.
  10. Manage the appointed communications agency to enhance international media presence.
Profile
  1. 10+ years of experience in Marketing Communications, preferably within a large, multicultural organization.
  2. Experience in Luxury Consumer and/or Luxury Hospitality Industry.
  3. Proven expertise in communications, strategic marketing planning, branding, and product development.
  4. Strong stakeholder and partnership management skills, with a track record of influencing executive stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and implement strategies that deliver measurable results.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics.
