Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in ERP system implementation to lead and manage end-to-end ERP projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of ERP platforms and business processes. This role requires a results-driven leader capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving successful ERP deployments to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMP) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello for effective project tracking.
- ERP System Expertise:
- Lead ERP implementation projects for platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.
- Oversee ERP module integration, including finance, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, and CRM.
- Manage data migration, API integrations, system configuration, and customizations.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and system architecture best practices.
- Stay updated on ERP upgrades, migrations, and emerging trends.
- Business Process Optimization:
- Analyze business workflows and align ERP solutions to optimize processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into ERP system requirements.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment to achieve organizational goals.
- Communication and Leadership:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external vendors.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Technical and Analytical Proficiency:
- Oversee technical aspects of ERP implementation, including data mapping, API integration, and system architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Leverage analytical skills to evaluate project metrics and recommend improvements.
- Work with database management tools and reporting systems as needed.
- Change Management:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption of ERP systems.
- Train and support end-users to maximize system utilization.
- Address and manage resistance to change within the organization.
- Organizational and Time Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing ERP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
